Today marks 112 years since the worst mining disaster in the history of the UK, the Senghenydd Colliery Disaster. 440 people died following the events of that morning. Today, we remember them.

On 21st of October 1966, 116 children and 28 adults were killed in the horrific Aberfan disaster, caused by the failure of the National Coal Board. Today, we remember those who lost their lives and stand with the community of Aberfan now and always. Never again.
