Nothing to see here only the Irish state covering up the killing of a young student getting started in life by an alleged Garda informant whose full criminal record was mysteriously “missed” in all previous state probes. Terrifying. Fair play to The Ditch. ontheditch.com/undisclosed-ci…

When did asking someone to leave the country become a sentence? What is the lawful basis for this? Zigimantas Gridziuska did not serve an hour for killing Shane. He was offered to leave the country instead of imposing a custodial sentence. This is not appropriate

Vindication! Great to meet Lucia & Jim O’Farrell along with daughter Gemma, ahead of massive moment when government acknowledge that their family, and most importantly their son Shane, were failed by the state. SF are so proud to have stood with this family every step of the way.

A statement on the Shane O’Farrell case and the failures of our bail system. Shane was tragically killed in a hit-and-run incident in 2011 at just 23 years old by a man who was out on bail.

This is a day of vindication for the family of Shane O'Farrell. For fourteen long years they fought for truth and justice for their beloved son and brother. It's shameful that it has taken so long for this apology to be made. Shane O'Farrell mattered. His life mattered. The
