Mrs. Maguire's kindergarten class engaged in a reading of the story "How to Catch a Turkey." Following the story, the students collaboratively developed a list of creative ideas for capturing a turkey. They also constructed cages and traps using toothpicks and marshmallows.

Third grade classes studied "Balloons Over Broadway" to explore the history of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. They designed their own balloons and conducted a parade throughout the building on Tuesday.

During November, Lake Elementary students learned all about our core essential value of the month-Generosity! Generosity is making someone's day by giving something away.  Congratulations to these students that were recognized for consistently showing this value everyday!
