The mold for the aft belly pan of the Switchblade was recently completed at Composite Approach. This is positioned under the rear suspension & goes back to the bumper. It's smaller than the main belly pan, yet still one of the largest carbon fiber parts in the Switchblade.

Here you can see the Samson Switchblade hybrid test cell with the main engine installed. The control panel mounts are ready to receive the engine computer, circuit box, and other electric components required for testing this high voltage hybrid design.

As a result of our recent trip to Dubai, we were invited to meet with the Dubai Minister for Business and Tourism, His Excellency Dr. Abdelrahman Mohamed Ali Shehab AlHosani, who is helping us reach the correct people at Dubai's Transportation Department which includes aircraft.

The Switchblade belly pan carbon fiber part is being laid up in the mold. Here's the middle layer of core material, tan colored, now in place over a layer of carbon fiber. This will be covered in carbon fiber outer layers, creating a strong sandwich panel. vist.ly/4f3kb
