Amazing that well hinted TrueType font families render completely miserable in popular Unix systems. Capitals designed at identical heights jump up and down with any of the hinting variables. Only with the following setting it becomes bearable: Tweaks > Fonts > Hinting > None

Amazing, when I substitute default figures of Myriad Pro in #Adobe #Illustrator with alternate OpenType figures and save a pdf, copying text is broken. Copying text to MS Word, and eps export are also broken. Expensive subscriptions to broken software, hurray.
