Lions were not in favor of the tush push ban proposal. With D.J. Reader, Tyleik Williams, Alim McNeill, and Roy Lopez, I think they’ll be more well-positioned, as opposed to other teams, to defend it come Week 11 and potentially in January.

Alex Anzalone turns only 31 years old this September. From 2015–2024, there were 38 linebacker seasons (age 32+) from 19 different players who contributed meaningful snaps, strong Pro Football Reference AVs, quality PFF grades, or positive total defensive EPA while on the field.

Love Leif Thursdays Shoutout to the forever under rated Kalif Raymond (and Jahmyr Gibbs the blocker). Lions have their best group of receiving talent of the Dan Campbell era in 2025.

Josh Paschal is a very useful player, particularly when he is healthy and on fresher snap count clip. This season, Kacy Rodgers will be his fifth defensive line coach in his last six seasons (going back to Kentucky). The hope is he’s able to play more inside on passing downs.

Lions DT Mekhi Wingo overwhelming Buccaneers RG Cody Mauch (75.4 PFF Grade - 15th OGs) for the QB Pressure. Wingo Year 2 Loading.

D.J. Reader’s second sack of Caleb Williams on Thanksgiving. He had a season-high seven QB pressures in that Week 13 match-up. Fully healthy, in Year 2 in Detroit, with improved talent and continuity around him should lead to better results than even 2024.
