👀 Reading this, thinking, "if it walks like a 🦆 and talks like a 🦆, calling it a 🐔(chicken) is just gonna [irritate] the duck!" B/c supporting Medicaid for groups A, B, C, but not mentioning D (currently covered) = a cut for folks in group D! #StoptheCuts #ProtectMedicaid

Outside today's NJ Assembly Health Committee hearing, Asw. Murphy and advocates called for NJ's Congressional delegation to oppose cuts to #Medicaid - in no small part b/c those cuts would affect us ALL, whether we use the program or not! #StoptheCuts youtube.com/watch?v=Cu7GTN…

All of this. Cuts by another name. We're reading the fine print in these proposals. Keep calling/writing reps to tell them: NO cuts means NO increased eligibility checks or cumbersome requirements. Remember: most #Medicaid recipients (below retirement age) are already working!

20.3 million people would lose their health care coverage via the Medicaid expansion - to pay for just a part of tax cuts to the rich. Good read from Center on Budget cbpp.org/research/healt…

Budgets express choices and what matters to us as a country. This version is saying that building more wealth for the ultra-rich is more important than providing health care to 40% of the babies born in NJ. #StoptheCuts #TaxTheRich
