Here’s the first proper reliable source regarding Anthony Elanga and Newcastle. And to my shock (not) not a mention of Harvey Barnes. Looks like we’re standing strong with this one. Absolutely no need or desire to sell, a club being ran the right way. #nffc

There will be a few teary eyed Geordie’s in the North East this evening. Paws off what you can’t afford and concentrate on what you can afford would be the advice. #nffc

The Danilo and Matt Turner deals now in tatters. I suspect the reason they were held was because of this possible outcome. #nffc

Garnacho couldn’t and never would be able to lace Elanga’s boots. He’s head and shoulders above. Get your head out of the sand you biased ostrich.

Followed by nobody credible in the industry but quite a large following. Ā£55m still wouldn’t be enough to let him go for me. I think they’re Ā£15/20m away #nffc

I’m not saying he’s worth Ā£70/75m by the way, but what’s he worth to us? If we lose him that’s a bulk of goals lost in the side we’d need to find in somebody else. And that’s not easy, tried last summer with Jota and Sosa and failed. #nffc

This reminds me so much of the Fawaz era, except this is worse. He sounds like a school child writing a letter to get out of being in trouble and passing the blame. So unprofessional. What a mess.

I wonder where Joe Worrall’s next destination will be. Wasn’t fancied under Scott Parker in the Championship, no doubts he’s surplus to requirements in the Premier League. A club like Boro would suit him. #nffc

The objector in this meeting has just said cars have got bigger since the 70’s making it a nightmare for parking and the new development will make things worse in the City. Christ alive. #nffc

It’s getting better. Another objector is talking to the council about bus routes and laws in Switzerland now. Get these wipes out the room and just grant the permission. They’re wasting everyone’s time. #nffc

Planning permission has been granted by Rushcliffe Borough Council. But, regardless of what you read or hear in the new few weeks. Work won’t start until the summer of 2027. Bookmark it. #nffc

Our Planning Committee have resolved to approve Nottingham Forest's City Ground plans. Leader of the Council Cllr Neil Clarke said: ā€œForest play such an important role in the community. We are proud they call Rushcliffe home. It’s heartening we can support them with their aspirations.ā€ #nffc

It’s also nothing to do with the boat club location issue either. If the boat club got burnt down tomorrow and a new location was agreed by the weekend work won’t start until summer 27 regardless. #nffc
