#DYK? During the #BattleofBmore, a rooster--belonging to one of Ft McHenry's defenders--was struck in the foot by shrapnel & flew up onto the parapet, cock-a-doodle-dooing his defiance. After the battle, a soldier delivered cake to the the rooster for its bravery. Fort McHenry
