We were lucky enough to have John and Jack from the RNLI in school today to talk to us about beach safety as part of their Meet the Lifeguard programme. They were fantastic!

For Comic Relief this year, the children were invited to wear red in return for a donation of a toy to send to the people of Ukraine with the help of disAbility Cornwall & Isles of Scilly. We are so overwhelmed by the generosity of our children and families here at Foxhole! A huge thank you to everyone!

Amy, from the RSPCA came to talk to us about what she does and showed us lots of photos of animals that she has helped rescue and look after. We looked at some of the ways that wildlife can become trapped and injured and thought about ways that we can help to stop that happening.

Yesterday we had two authors visit us in school! Justyn Edwards ran a workshop for Kestrel and Osprey class about his book 'The Great Fox Illusion' and Naomi Jones did activities based on 'The Perfect Fit' with Little Owls and Merlins. A big thank you to Stories_ByThe_Sea !

What a treat we had this afternoon! The Cornish Caretakers paid us a visit to teach us all about the ways in which we communicate with each other; from carrier pigeon to the telegram. Thank you to PK Porthcurno Museum of Global Communications and the Cornish Caretakers!

We had a fantastic week of science learning for our Trust Science Week! So many great experiments were conducted! Thank you to Mr McKenzie from Brannel School for his brilliant assembly, it was really kind of him to come and talk passionately about his subject! @KLacademytrust

Thanks to our friends @Ocean_Housing we have been able to support 2 local families by providing them with a brand new air fryer. In the process we have raised £130 which will go to support families in need within our school community. Thank you 🙏
