A big thank you to the University Roadshow for visiting our Year 14 students during their Induction Day! 👏🏻 Our pupils really valued the chance to learn more about the wide range of courses and opportunities available at universities across Scotland, England and Wales. 🎓

Today, we were privileged to have been joined in school by Olympic athlete and sport ambassador Lady Mary Peters, when she had the opportunities to meet with some of our talented athletes and a number of pupils who are currently engaged in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.

The stage is set and we eagerly anticipate welcoming our guests to the annual School Prize Distribution this evening, a celebration of our senior pupils’ curricular achievements. #thefutureisfoyle 💫

Today, we were delighted to welcome Sarah from Stirling University to speak with our Year 14 pupils during their Enrichment time. Our pupils left feeling inspired and better prepared for the next steps in their respective academic journey. #thefutureisfoyle 💫

This evening, we welcomed our Year 14 pupils’ parents and guardians into Foyle College for our Post-18 Options Information Evening. Thank you to Mr Farmer and our Class of 2025 leavers, Michael Doherty and Rosie McHugh, for sharing their valuable advice and guidance. 👏🏻

A massive thank you to Rachel Chambers at Chambers Farm and Equestrian Store for kindly supplying the Foyle Equestrian Team with their kit for the Equestrian Interschools League, which begins on Saturday. Your generosity is very much appreciated, Rachel! 👏🏻 #thefutureisfoyle 💫

Last night, Year 13 pupils’ parents and carers attended an information presentation, facilitated by members of our Senior Leadership Team, CEIAG Department and Head Prefects, outlining how we will support our pupils through this transition point. #thefutureisfoyle 💫

Today we welcome the beginning of October and its promises of trees changing colour and rustling leaves.

Pupils representing all year groups attended the official Unveiling of the Terrestrial Globe in Ebrington Square, alongside Rev Dr David Latimer, First Minister, Michelle O’Neill MLA, Mayor Derry Strabane, Utchang Kang (United Nations Bonn Office) and Paul Armstrong (Woodland Trust NI).
