In North London last Sunday Joshua Ryan played his final voluntary before moving to a church in Greenwich. The choir had closed evensong with Naumann’s ‘Dresden Amen’ , which Wagner incorporated into Parsifal. The organ voluntary that followed was the full prelude to Parsifal!
