Off and on showers for the next couple of day and MAYBE a stray severe storm or two... here's a look at what you can expect as we head into the weekend:

Cooler and cloudy today with spotty showers and storms. A few storms tonight could be a little rowdy... more showers and storms off and on through the long holiday weekend with temperatures headed down as we head toward Memorial Day.

Ensemble data is looking relatively consistent and robust when it comes to rainfall potential through Monday evening. I'm not quite sure I'd buy into the 2" and 2"+ amounts yet... we've seen this yanked away before. By far the heaviest will be SE & the lightest will be SW. #KSwx
