IT'S BUILD-A-DAD DAY! If you could stitch together the perfect dad this Father's Day, what parts would you choose? Brain of a scientist? Heart of a teddy bear? Humour of a stand-up comic? Grill skills of a BBQ master? Open until 5.30pm today! #HouseOfFrankenstein

On this day in 1816 the first fragments of the world’s most famous monster were conceived at the Villa Diodati. But it wasn’t until she arrived in Bath in September 1816 where she started properly writing her book in earnest, and where the monster was “born”.

Fun Fact - Did you know Frankenstein’s Monster was a vegan?! 🌿🫐 It’s true—in Mary Shelley’s original novel, the Creature hides in the woods and survives on nuts, berries and plants. No meat, no hunting—just a lonely life in nature, trying to survive and understand the world.
