Congrats!! The FHS Girls T&F Team had a strong showing at the D1 Relays. The team medaled in the Shot Put (1st), Discus (3rd), Javelin (4th), Triple Jump (5th), Shuttle Hurdles (6th), 4x100 (6th), 4x400 (7th), 4x800 (6th).

No practice on Monday, May 19th for the Spring track team. Nice job on the relay meet today and we’ll see everyone on Tuesday

The 4th annual Halter Invitational is in the books! Congrats to Carson Brown for the win (5:10)! He was followed up by Ryan O'Connor (5:13), Sawyer Laing (5:15), and Andrew Matteson (5:16). Coach Bailey (5:17) and Coach Foster (6:06) rounded out the rest of the competition

Congratulations to the Girls Hockomock League’s Kelley-Rex Champions. Today the Panthers finished 3rd at the Championship Meet. Ella Chandaria was a double winner in the Shot Put and Discus. There were a lot of personal and season bests by Franklin Track Athletes

Franklin Girls Track D1 Results: Congratulations -Ella Chandaria (Hurdles, Discus) , Abby Baker (Javelin), the 4x1,4x4, 4x8 Relay Teams all medaled at the MIAA D1 Track and Field Championship Meet. The team had a solid day of good performances at the meet.

The MIAA Meet of Champions has been postponed to Sunday, June 8th The meet will start at the same time and keep the same schedule. Please email your coach if you have any questions or concerns.

‼️POSTPONEMENT ALERT ‼️ Because of the forecast of inclement weather, day 2 of the MIAA Meet of Champions at Fitchburg State has been postponed to Sunday (June 8). The meet will begin at 2:30 p.m. and followed the originally published schedule of events.

Congrats to the GIRLS FHS Track Team on another outstanding season. At the MIAA Meet of Champions the 4x800 Relay ran a season PR 9:41.10! The Panthers also competed in the 4x100 Relay and Ella Chandaria ran in the 100M Hurdles. A nice ending to good season, well done!!

There will be a quick meeting after school on Tuesday (6/10) in room 109 for anyone interested in running XC next year. If you can't make it let Coach Bailey know for the information.

We have opportunities for anyone looking for volunteer hours over the summer. We need help with the Children's Road Race on July 5th at the town common (8am setup) and we need volunteers for the Youth Track Meets (July 8, 15, 22) for 5pm. Please email coach Bailey with questions

Anyone interested in helping out with the July 5th Youth Road Race should plan on meeting at the gazebo in the town common at 8am to help set up. We should be done by 10am

Don’t forget on Tuesday, July 8th we start the summer youth track meet series. Field events start at 5pm and the running event will begin shortly after. Anyone that wants to volunteer should plan on showing up just before 5pm. See you there.

Due to extreme heat and potential thunder storms the Youth Meet scheduled for today has been rescheduled. The meets will be on the following dates: July 15 July 22 July 29 The meets will start with registration and field events at 5:00 with Running Events to follow
