Marking #WorldBicycleDay on the Isle of Mull in the middle of a weeklong Bikepacking trip up Scotland’s West coast, hopping on and off islands. Possibly the friendliest island I’ve been on with a bike, patient drivers and good use of passing places.

4th CalMac Ferries in as many days and can’t fault the staff. West Coast is getting battered at the moment but every ferry I’ve been on has run to time and been very accommodating of me and many other cyclists exploring Scotland’s islands

Falkirk cannot afford the blow of Alexander Dennis leaving the district so soon after PetroIneos shed 100s of jobs. Many of our routes have recently been taken over by electric buses manufactured in China, despite have a world class bus company on our doorstep.
