Nursing students, two PC School of Nursing and Health Sciences faculty, @PCCampMin's Sister Mary Cecelia Goodwin, O.P., and Rev. John Vidmar, O.P. took Providence College's first nursing pilgrimage to France, visiting Dominican sites, reflecting in Lourdes, and serving with the Little Sisters of the Poor. 🇫🇷🕊️





This spring, in partnership with the Chirico Career Center, we co-hosted the 2nd Annual Careers in Healthcare event. The evening brought students across all majors and Providence College Alumni together for meaningful conversations about life after college and careers in healthcare.

This summer, several SNHS students are part of Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island's summer internship program. Recently they met with President & CEO Martha Wofford, who shared insights on leadership and careers in healthcare. We’re grateful for partners who create meaningful learning experiences.




Dr. Brett Ely, assistant prof. of HSC and HPM at PC, led Shea Podbelski ’27 & Jillian Vichi ’27 through 34 hours of data collection at the Western States Endurance Run—the world’s oldest 100-mile trail race. They looked at hydration, core temp, and kidney health in ultramarathon runners.

We are pleased to share that Nancy Meedzan, DNP, has been promoted to Associate Dean of Nursing at Providence College. Her leadership has been instrumental to the growth of our nursing program, and we look forward to this next chapter with her at the helm.
