As part of International Week, we've cooked delicious recipes from around the world, revised world geography, learnt about different cultures and practised our language skills. We ended the week with a sharing assembly featuring drumming, dance and singing 🌎🌍🌏

This week during our pupil review meetings we discussed the importance of reading for pleasure. The children were excited to take home a new or pre-loved bundle of books to keep, all donated to us by the Children’s Book Project.

This term Year Six have been learning to jive in their weekly dance lessons.

Year Six took part in the Junior Citizenship Scheme at Old Kent Road Fire Station today, learning about personal safety, fire safety, road safety and much more.

Our Year One children visited London Sea Life Aquarium today. They saw lots of amazing sea creatures and had a very enjoyable day.

Today we enjoyed a scrumptious Christmas lunch. Reception took part in a sprout challenge. Everyone who ate a sprout got a certificate.

This morning some of our Year 6 and Year 5 children set off for a week on the farm. Thet have just stopped at Reading Service Station for lunch.

The children have arrived safely at the farm. They will be having a quick refreshment break before getting to work.
