We've been at 5000 year-old round barrow Willy Howe in the Yorkshire Wolds, advising its owner on how to stop it from getting overgrown. There are approximately 10,000 round barrows in the UK. They were created between 2400-1500 BC as burial monuments. historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-li…

#tbt to our Hungate excavations and the discovery by #YATFieldwork of a well-preserved block of toilets, flushed by a Duckett tipper flush system. Dating to the #Victorian period, these showed evidence of increasing occupation levels in the area. #archaeology #excavations #toilet
