We assisted the male swan at Worsbrough Mill Country Park, after he and one of his cygnets had been washed over the reservoir spillway yesterday.

8 mute swans spotted on the beach at Rhos on sea north wales , goes to show how many breeding pairs are failing ! Also spotted on the same day another 8 were spotted on the coast of Llandudno . Wales is a poor season for cygnets . 2 sightings this year .

A civilised(ish) curry yesterday with my Birding Brothers, putting the world and local/national birding scenes to rights, before an evening up on Cannock Chase - Nightjars, Hobby, Cuckoo, Woodcock, Fallow Deer + lots of moths (could only ID Marbled White Spot + Brown Silver-line)

I was sent this photo of a dog living on the streets here in Thailand. She didn’t look great so we rescued her but I had no idea what she was hiding. Her comeback has started… (1/8) 🧵

So I got home from holiday having been alerted by a friend of new tagging all over Walsall Town centre. I'd painted this last year so sad to see it scribbled. But a fresh coat of magnolia & grey got a grip here. Zero tolerance is the only way

This wall had been untouched for a few years in Walsall, then this was scribbled. Like many toddlers they can't stay in the lines. I didn't do it all originally as I didn't have the paint then. Here it began to rain so left the last bit on the bottom.
