Our One Book One School is…El Deafo!! We had so much excitement at our school-wide reveal this morning!! Thank you to ChurchStreetPTA and Friends of WPPS for helping to make this possible!!!
Superhero day at CSS!! For our One Book One School culminating activity, each class created their own superhero with various traits! Can you spot El Deafo? Thank to ChurchStreetPTA and Friends of WPPS for helping to instill the love for reading in our Tigers!
At our last meeting of the school year, we approved an exciting grant: $5k to fund a "Parent University" program that will be a partnership between White Plains Schools and Andrus! The program will educate parents about managing student stress, anxiety, and social media usage.
As the school year ends, we are proud to have awarded 13 grants for more than $30k to students in White Plains Schools! Congrats to all retiring staff and graduating students! And thanks to our supporters, whose generosity allows us to help support this wonderful school district!

On Wednesday, we held our first meeting of the new school year, and got right to work! We approved an $18k grant to support a new BEYOND BROADWAY dance residency program for 5th graders in the White Plains Schools elementary schools. Can't wait to see the performances!

*GRANT ALERT* During our February meeting last night, we approved two grants that we're excited about! We gave $7,500 for a White Plains High School Band & Orchestra Trip to Boston in April, and $5,000 for end-of-school year activities of the 8th grade Highlands MS. #WPProud

*GRANT ALERT* When our Bord met last week we approved a grant request of $18,000 to fund the Beyond Broadway dancing program for all 5th graders in the White Plains Schools District. We are proud and excited to fund this popular program again!
