Just wrapped up my week coaching 1st and 2nd year principals in Boston Public Schools. Being in schools is my happy place, and it gives me great joy seeing these principals engaging in the work of making better outcomes for students.

It’s been a great few days coaching principals here in Syracuse City School District! The question I’ve been asking my principals is “How will you know?” You can have the BEST plan in the world, but without accountability/progress monitoring built in that plan is useless.

Enjoyed Day 1 of 3 coaching 1st/2nd year Principals here in Boston Public Schools. Each of my leaders are fully engaged and ready to take their respective campus to the next level!

All finished with my week coaching in Boston, I’ll be back the first week in November! I LOVE coaching and supporting school leaders. It brings me such joy to be a thought partner in their journey towards accelerating outcomes for ALL students!

Even though it was cold outside here in Indianapolis, leading the learning today warmed my soul! Todays topic: High Quality Instruction! Can’t wait to return next month when we will dive into “Leading with Intent.”

I thought Indianapolis was cold until I made it to Syracuse, NY. Spent the last two days walking classrooms with Principals calibrating on what high quality instruction should look like, sound like and feel like! See you next week Syracuse!

It’s never fun when you get ill while traveling; but the way my principals in SCSD really leaned into the learning was the dose of medicine I needed. Seeing systems we discussed become fully actualized lets me know we are heading in the right direction. See you next week!

It’s been a great 3-days training over 700 principals in partnership with the MSDE. Principals r”engaged in the process of looking at systems to ensure standards alignment across all content areas.;looking forward to returning in March for the next session in this 4-part series.

I had 3 coaching session today in BPS. Mid-year performance data looking STRONG, all three exceeding the EOY year goal now. Grateful to have earned their trust enough to be honest in our coaching sessions to get these results. Operating in my gift each day keeps me warm😁!

What a BUSY week this week! Started my week in Indianapolis, with IPS conducting their monthly leadership academy. One of my favorite topics to teach too, Crucial Conversations and Coaching for Impact. Finished the week in DC for our company wide retreat; I enjoyed the learning.

What a great Aspiring Leaders Academy in Indianapolis Public Schools. This sessions we focused on the accountability systems needed to gain traction on measurable school improvement efforts. “If you don’t see it in the instructional core then it simply doesn’t exist”
