On 5/14, Governor Gavin Newsom released the May Revision of the budget. Despite a projected $12 billion deficit, he is proposing $200 million to train elementary teachers in evidence-based reading practices! This $ will fund the PD outlined in AB 1454! Good news 4 literacy in CA!
