The Centre will continue to be jointly led by University of Sussex and University of Leeds, with partners at Cambridge University, The University of Manchester, and Monash University, together with Institute for the Future of Work, FutureDotNow, and Institute of Development Studies. Jacqueline O'Reilly and Mark Stuart FAcSS will continue to serve as Co-Directors.

We are delighted to be partners on this project with ESRC Centre for Digital Futures at Work (Digit) helping lead research on how the UK’s digital work ecosystem is evolving, and studying the economic and social impacts on people’s working lives.

Our Education Programme Head Emily Tanner spoke at the Association of Colleges (AoC) conference on how research can influence policy in post-14 education, training & skills, highlighting work by National Foundation for Educational Research Institute for the Future of Work & The Centre for Education Systems as examples of #NuffieldFunded projects seeking to create change.


#NationalProductivityWeek is underway with the launch of Institute for the Future of Work's final report from the #PissaridesReview.


Minister of State for Department for Science, Innovation and Technology, Lord Vallance, gave the keynote address this morning stating how crucial the final report is to understanding technological transformation in the UK.
