E’marriah “Magic” Johnson is now officially committed to be a Lady Techster at Louisiana Tech! A fit is a fit and with La Tech having a couple Arkansans on the roster, and a couple Arkansans on the coaching staff, plus the move to the Sun Belt, we are thrilled in E’s decision!

Dasia has been able to train with us here all summer and I’ve enjoyed having her around! Off to France tomorrow for her rookie year. Praying for health, safety, tons of memories, and those crepes. Best I can figure, I’ve watched her do her thing for 14 summers now. Time flies!

Wanted to announce and congratulate Austin Toney on being the 2025 recipient of our Mark Hardin Scholarship! Austin is the son of long time official Anthony Toney. Austin graduated from Desoto Central and is attending Northwest Community College in Senatobia, MS.

This week we finished our summer workouts. We lift. Year round. 30 lifts in the summer. 3x a week in fall. 2x a week in season. 3x a week in spring. We feel it’s a separator. We are proud of it. Shout out to Beau Kidd Smith as our strength coach. He’s great!  #ChoosetheWrench
