FAFSA is quite the challenge this year, but community volunteers continue to step up & support our seniors! & the class of ‘24 is putting in the work!

Seniors from our GEAR UP campuses were awarded and recognized by the Rotary Club of Austin at the scholarship recipient luncheon today for Austin area schools. 17 students received academic scholarships and three students received automotive scholarships for trade schools!

Congratulations to Gloria Salgado-Santiago, Jayvien Milhouse, Jennifer Aboytes and Gloria Contreras! They are the proud recipients of the Windsor Park Neighborhood Association Scholarship, and will be awarded $1,000 each. They will be attending TSU and ACC in the fall.

Johnson Early College High School We are excited that she was awarded the Texas Alliance of Black School Educators scholarship of $1,200, and the Austin Retired Teachers Association Scholarship of $500.
