Athletes, take time between Spring & Summer training. Go on that week vacation. Go spend more time with friends. Go a day without your phone. Just be. Go take morning walks in the sunshine. Take time to reset-recharge-reengage. Because when you start back up… it’s GO TIME.

Rarely are ⚽️ players sprinting from a static start. Players spend roughly 40-50% of time during a game walking, shuffling, or backpedaling. Being able to transition into acceleration from these actions needs to be an integral piece of an on-field performance puzzle.

If your wk 1 of preseason is “HELL WEEK” it’s like prepping for a marathon by running 26.2 miles on day 1. Wk 1: Insanity. Players crushed. Wk 2: Physical panic. Practice is slow. Wk 3: Somewhere between wk 1/2. Wk 4: ReCoVEry Wk 5: Game. Lose. Coach says we look unfit…😑
