Great start to the Global Emergency Care Skills trauma courses in Zambia. Running parallel courses for Paramedic trainees who are revolutionizing pre- hospital care & also for medical & nursing staff ahead of the opening of the new ED at Lusaka University Hospital. Inspirational faculty team!

day #4 of our Global Emergency Care Skills course saw more essential Resus skills, ultrasound training & a major incident simulation. Pleasure to also visit colleagues in Lusaka University Hospital to introduce the incredible SURGhub - UN Global Surgery Learning Hub learning platform for healthcare staff UNITAR


I was delighted to meet with Prof Jean O'Sullivan and the rest of the delegation from Global Emergency Care Skills this week. I commend the amazing work done by all the team from Ireland🇮🇪 on this important health issue for Zambia🇿🇲. Look forward to meeting with you again in the future.
