On Wednesday, the German Embassy hosted an Evening of Musik & Reflection in honour of the 80th anniversary of WW II. Musicians from RIAMDublin performed and the Ambassador reflected on the power of reconciliation and the emerging hope when nations choose peace and cooperation.

This week is filled with important historical events. Today we are celebrating and remembering the Schuman Declaration, signed on the 9th of May 1950 and the starting point of the European Union. 75 years later, its vision of peace and solidarity remains as vital as ever. 🇪🇺
