I met this group of workers a few years ago. Due to privatisation, they knew they were on a fast track to the bottom of the pay scale & were treated as such by the employer. They joined GMB Union, some became reps, they organised! Now, they take the ultimate stand. Solidarity

GMB members in Bham City Council are fighting for equal pay, but the council has gone quiet and the Birmingham Labour manifesto doesn't commit to ending sex discrimination. If GMB members have to strike for pay justice like they did in Glasgow, then our union will not be found wanting.
