Thank you to everyone who attended our #GMWorkforceSummit25 yesterday! It was invaluable to see so many colleagues come together to share best practices and connect in person. It's been a privilege to attend one final time before I retire later this week.

After 39 years in the NHS I’m retiring this week! I’ve had a fantastic career working in Wales and Greater Manchester. While I didn’t anticipate leaving colleagues with further NHS reforms, I leave you in the safe hands of our new Chief People Officer, Charlotte Bailey.👏💙

Today is my final day as Chief People Officer as I retire after 39 incredible years in the NHS. It’s been a pleasure working alongside so many passionate individuals. Wishing everyone the very best, and I hope our paths cross again in the future! ☺️

As I say goodbye and look ahead to the next chapter, I’m so proud of all we’ve accomplished together. It’s a pleasure to pass the account to our new Chief People Officer, Charlotte Bailey, who will continue the amazing work ahead. Wishing you all the very best!👋
