Day 1 at the PIT and all 9 move on to day 2. Luis (106), Leo (126), Zeno (150), and Elijah “Big E” (285) all advanced to the semifinals.

Lost to a tough Liberty team yesterday, but 126 pounder Leo Saravia avenged an earlier 8-5 loss by beating the same opponent 18-5. Tonight we picked up a win against Long Reach 59-24 and then lost an extremely close match to Oakland Mills 45-36.

Proud of the energy they brought tonight!

Been a minute since we did wrestler of the week. This week is goes to Leo Saravia. After losing his third place match at The PIT 8-5, Leo came back a week later and defeated the same wrestler 18-5! Great things still to come this season!

Congrats to Ethan Brancazio! 1st place in the JV County Tournament this year! Overall the Panthers JV squad excelled on the mats with a champion, 2 runners-up, a 3rd place winner, and 2 fourth place finishers! Coed and Girls Varsity are on the mats tomorrow at Howard High!

Two state qualifiers and two alternates! Big-E and Alice take 3rd, Ruby takes 4th, and McDonald takes 5th at the 4A/3A South Regions!

Day 1 is done. Not the outcome we were hoping for but Big E is still in the mix after dropping his first match. Unfortunately the season comes to an end for Alice but she made it all the way to the big stage her first year wrestling!

BIG day for Guilford Park Lacrosse! Both varsity teams won their first game in program history by defeating Meade. Boys won 8-5, while the girls won 12-4. JV girls also picked up at 4-2 victory on the day. 💚💙
