So we are denying our kids life saving therapy now? Come on Ab, where is the outrage? Where is PH? Where is gov? You should know what to do and you should at least have had a plan. This is beyond serious now.

Flu, COVID-19 and RSV are all currently spreading in NYC. Wearing a mask in public indoor spaces and crowded places can help protect you and also protect others if you’re sick. High-quality masks, such as N95s, KN95s and KF94s provide the best protection: on.nyc.gov/3XYwSL2

But they most certainly are NOT giving Albertans the information they need. In fact, it’s just the opposite: they’re actively withholding the information Albertans need.

It literally blows me away when our governments keep being 'surprised' by the hosp situation. They have run it without surge capacity for years and now claim that nobody could have forseen the surge that happens every year.

Donate A Mask - Canada BIRCH WHAT’S NEW THIS WEEK? About 1 in 13 people in Canada is currently infected. COVID Forecast scores in most regions are similar to the maximum previous peaks of excess mortality for the epidemic to date in Canada (~20%: SEVERE).

The situation in family and rural medicine isn’t just bad – it's dire. Family and rural generalist physicians will not be able to continue practice at this rate. We need urgent follow-through from government now.

More fragmentation & financial conflict of interest in the health system. First virtual walk-ins & pharmacy clinics in AB and now having to go to a specific pharmacy. Patients should have continuity of primary care and be able to see whatever pharmacist they trust.

Danielle Smith has just declared that #transkids do not have the right to lifesaving care or psychological safety in school/sport It's a million kinds of wrong for a transphobic premier to unilaterally delist care for #transkids & enact outing policies How is this possible?

Rachel Notley (@rachelnotley) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Let’s talk about the facts. Not conspiracies, not false myths spread on social media – facts. Danielle Smith’s policy targeting trans and gender-diverse youth is an attack on a vulnerable group of youth and on thousands of Albertans. It is a massive overstep into private health

Each of these faces are the tip of the iceberg of the docs willing to go public with how critical the situation is for Family Medicine... They each represent 100's of other docs who are drowning and need help ASAP Family medicine is in crisis. It needs critical intervention now

There are better precautions against lice than Covid-19. Uphill battle against misinformation begins with the very agencies and institutions that should be following and advocating for evidence based science, but don’t.

This is absolutely correct and is a must read. Braden Manns is someone I've known and respected for decades. One of the smartest health policy gurus around. Opinion: LaGrange should check her facts before blaming AHS managers edmontonjournal.com/opinion/column… via Edmonton Journal

I had forgotten this. Not just best in Canada, AHS, was one of the top 5 in the WORLD! This was not ranked by amateurs or home schooled know-it-alls, but by professionals. AHS was world leading - and it is now being torn apart by barbarians. We should be ashamed.

They might not be calling it a "hunt", but recent moves by Todd Loewen allow for public killing of bears. This won't resolve conflict. It will result in more dead bears. There is no data to support this and it goes against the Provincial Grizzly Bear Recovery Plan.

I’m sick of people trying to gaslight everyone by telling them “we’ve always had fires in Alberta.” Of course, we’ve always had fires. But the last few years are off the charts. I grew up here. The average used to be 12 HOURS of smoke cover in a summer. Now it’s days and weeks.

Killing bears doesn’t reduce conflict. UCP gov’t’s move to end 18-year moratorium & reopen grizzly hunt needed consultation w/ Grizzly Bear Recovery Team, wildlife biologists, Indigenous groups or general public. #ableg #abpoli #bears #wildlife

We already have a right to make medical choices without coercion, so it isn't clear what this is designed to accomplish other than continuing to dangerously pander to anti-vaxxers.

Countless Americans are endangered now on a scale and intensity almost unheard of in modern America. Our first responsibility is to protect these people and resist these forces.
