Amazing news that the Holiday Activity & Food (HAF) Programme will continue for another year! This initiative has such a vital impact on children in the area, providing them with essential support, activities, and nutritious meals. #HAFProgramme Merseyside Play Action Council MPAC theguardian.com/society/2025/j…

The problem is not tackled at the root, cleaning up the same spot over and over again, when it would be cheaper to put cameras and lights. Reported this clothes bin numerous times for turning the area into a flytipping hotspot. Nothing done.

What exactly is happening with Park Road Lifestyles? There have been no updates/engagement with the community regarding its future. The large pool is closed once again leaving many local residents without a vital facility. We would love to fundraise. Harry Doyle 🌹🏳️‍🌈 Claire Hamilton

If the Council had actually worked with the grassroots communities and the groups campaigning, they might have seen the issues the site would bring. No consultation, no communication, community ignored again Liverpool City Council Councillor Nick Small‏ 🇺🇦 Lila Bennett #EndViolenceAgainstWomenAndGirls

Good luck to all the parents finding out which secondary school their child has been allocated. Let’s hope it’s not the same old same old for L8 children. #EducationMatters #nationalofferday

Such a myth that PIP is easy to receive. This narrative that people are just handed support without scrutiny is damaging and fuels harmful stigma. Instead of scapegoating those barely getting by, the focus should be on making the system fairer & accessible. #DisabilityBenefits

What is going on with Onward Homes and their repair service? The contractors either don’t show up or leave repairs unfinished with no follow-up. It seems the contractors have full control over when jobs get done & residents are left chasing updates. Kim Johnson Liverpool City Council

Absolutely appalling, what is the point of being elected officials if you ignore those who elected you? 89% said no but then the consultation is completely ignored!! It’s time to restore real accountability. Elections should return to a 3-year cycle, not 4 Liverpool City Council

Just 49 Labour MPs voting against it! Even after a U-turn, it could still push 150,000+ into poverty and strip support from future PIP claimants. We need to keep fighting. But good to see local MP Kim Johnson voting against it. #WelfareReformBill #DisabilityRights

Honestly makes no sense, why even hold a consultation. Penalising drivers but not offering better Public Transport for evenings is so short sighted. #badbusiness #unethical

So will the schools actually reopen in September or will 580 children be left without a place to go? Poor families are being let down again and again. Where is the oversight in this city? Education should never be this unstable. #LiverpoolSchools #LIPA Liverpool City Council
