@BeaulieuBio Clive G. Brown Linda Scaife QIAGEN Oxford Nanopore Have also helped introduce Oxford Nanopore sequencing in Danish high schools. The flongle is a great format for sequencing amplicons to characterize the bacterial composition of sourdough etc. samples from the students.

Read on for an in-depth look at the role of sequencing during the #COVID19 pandemic, and beyond. ‘Gordon Sanghera told me he sees his company’s tool as enabling a future in which sequencing insights can be derived during every minute of every day.’ nyti.ms/3cqC316 NYT Magazine

I'm really excited to see that our rapid, easier, lower-cost protocol for SARS-CoV2 genome sequencing is on the Oxford Nanopore site and is now in a **96 well format!!**("midnight" 1200 bp primer set with the new rapid kit RBK110.96 barcodes). Designed with Olin Silander and @m_vlkova.

Just generated more DNA sequence in 10 min than in my whole PhD - just a control run but pretty excited to finally be working with the MinION sequencer Oxford Nanopore #DNA

This is beyond exciting: this is huge! My dream becomes reality when my favorite tool #MinION and my biggest concern, #criticallyendangered species, come together under one initiative. Hit me up if you have a species in mind! Way to go and THANK YOU Oxford Nanopore

Huge break through today, we have Oxford Nanopore MinION adaptive sampling running on an NVIDIA Embedded Jetson Xavier AGX! Huge effort with Matt Storey, I love that I get to work and geek out with awesome people and technology. I'll post more details when I get on a computer.

Oxford Oxford Nanopore on the long reads front has pretty much obliterated the centralised CAPEX model with the MinION and importantly the $100-200 per run/experiment that is the Flongle.

Imagine looking into your conference goodie bag and spotting a DNA sequencer with your name on it!!! Oxford Nanopore Events Oxford Nanopore

Santhosh Ambika Illumina Pacbio too expensive for us, its Oxford Nanopore all the way. No CAPEX, blazing-fast real-time sequencing. We use this for metagenomics mainly
