Just like that the High School baseball season in Tennessee is over. It’s been a blast getting to watch so many games & help so many players make their name. It’s all been free & for the love of the game. We post all players who have success in games we are at & it’s not biased

By the time I got any baseball "instruction" I had played 1,000s of innings of pressure free baseball on a field away from adults. I understand times have changed, but I think we are making the game too technical for kids before they've developed any love for the game.

Most important skill set for infielders? Throwing! … Period. All else (hands/feet/range, etc) become irrelevant if you are not an elite thrower. This includes arm strength, BUT EVEN MORE IMPORTANT IS ACCURACY. Problem is… less than 5% of all HS players are elite throwers.

🚨 Fielding Fundamentals w/ Coach Hymes • Stutter step to work through the ball • Ball in the middle of your body • Glove/eyes out in front ⭐️ “Nothing good in baseball happens deep. Everything good happens out in front.”

Before you high school kids jump to transfer schools, chasing promises and dreams painted by someone else—pause and think. Not everyone recruiting you has your best interest at heart. Some of those coaches want what you can do for them—not what they can do for your future.

Fascinating sequence in the 6th for UTSA. After two very quick outs, Patrick Hallmark calls over his hitter and if my lip reading is correct, says “buy some time”. Andrew Stucky and his teammates then stretched the inning for almost 15 minutes, producing 3 runs. Coachable!
