Over the last month, pupils have been busy with The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award - 96 silver & gold participants completed their expeditions in sunny Torridon, 188 S2s started their journey with training days in the Pentland Hills while 49 silver & gold participants returned from Braemar today! ⛰️ #AimHigh

Towards the end of term, Isla (P6, soon to be P7) was awarded Gold in the Introductory Clarsach competition at the Edinburgh Local Mod (Gaelic Music Competition) 👏⭐ What a great way to finish the school year - well done, Isla! 🎵 #AimHigh

As we approached the end of term, our JS Chess players participated in the second leg of their Chess Challenge with @St_Peters_Edin♟️ Although our P6/7 players were pipped to the post, they took the 'Defenders' Award & are the 'Challengers' looking ahead to next year! 👏

Throughout the academic year, pupils attend various events at Heriot-Watt University 🤝 One of the last trips was to a Girls into Electronics Day where they participated in a number of exciting activities including a Q&A with UKESF Scholar & a session on microcontrollers 🎛️ #AimHigh
