Today, we attended the last colloquium of the year hosted by the GW History Department, where Affiliate Faculty Dr. Gema Kloppe-Santamaría shared insights from her upcoming book on violence and crime in #Mexico and #CentralAmerica. We are excited to read your book soon!


Thankful for the opportunity to present my work-in-progress at our GW History Department colloquium. I presented a chapter on the book I’m working on with my dear colleague, David Carey Jr. on violence in 🇲🇽 & Central America Thank you GW Cisneros students for joining me!


Coming this fall GW History Department: excited to be teaching "History of Chinese Communism"! This course will focus on the history of the CCP, how the party understands its own past, and how it functions today.



Grading finals for my Violence, Drugs & Crime in Latin America class and pleased to see how many draw from the work of all the amazing speakers we had this semester, including Ana Villarreal, @benjamintsmith7, @dsmilde is on Blue Sky, Jaime Pensado 🔥🔥🔥
