REMINDER: In an effort to reduce our Sanitation team’s exposure to dangerous heat this summer, new sanitation hours for trash pick-up began earlier this month. The new seasonal Sanitation Hours are 6 am – 2 pm, Monday – Thursday, from May 5, through October 2, 2025.

One eastbound lane on West Pike St will be closed at the intersection of Langley Dr beginning at 10:30 pm on Thursday, June 5. Road resurfacing will take place at 8:30 am on Friday, June 6. The lane will reopen once paving is complete.

Today, June 17, is Election Day for the Special Primary Election. Polls are open from 7:00am to 7:00pm. Please remember that the Gwinnett Voter Registrations and Elections Beauty P. Baldwin Building is not a polling location today.

All City of Lawrenceville offices will be closed Thursday, June 19 in observance of Juneteenth. Sanitation collection will not run on Thursday. The collection will resume on Friday, June 20, and will be 1 day behind due to the holiday.
