Grateful for incredible trainees who led this work(Hannah Wastyk, Gabi Fragiadakis), collaborator Christopher Gardner, participants, and !DONORS! whose generosity made our Fermented/Fiber/Food (FeFiFo) study possible. Enjoy good food and good health. authors.elsevier.com/a/1dOdeL7PXe%7…
Fun collaboration with Dr. Wang and Dr. Blaser on studying immunologic and molecular signatures during AML treatment - my first paper from UCSF. Thanks to @Arrkal and Gabi Fragiadakis for this opportunity! bloodcancerdiscov.aacrjournals.org/content/early/…
My Cell paper on the Fermented Fiber Food Study (FeFiFo) with Gabi Fragiadakis , The Sonnenburg Lab, and Christopher Gardner was just featured in the New York Times!! nytimes.com/2021/08/13/wel… #research #fermentedfoods #fiber #newyorktimes #nytimes #fermentation #inflammation #health

Excited to announce that lab member Justine Levan has been awarded the The American Association of Immunologists (AAI) Intersect Fellowship and will be collaborating with Gabi Fragiadakis to hone her computational skills! Congrats Justine Levan!
Big congrats to another IgE member Charlotte Wang from the UCSF Bakar ImmunoX Initiative retreat for winning second place and technical winner in the UCSF ICBI Hackathon presented by Gabi Fragiadakis!
Everyone is a winner when we share data. Gabi Fragiadakis, Jimmie Ye and Alexis Combes organized this year’s hackathon wherein students analyzed large cancer datasets from out patients to find new associations with disease. Good will come of this. ucsf.edu/news/2022/09/4…
At UCSF's #hackathon, students mined data and shared findings with judges and peers. “Bringing biology and data expertise together makes for the best insights and an environment of mutual learning,” data scientist and co-organizer Gabi Fragiadakis says. ucsfh.org/3SeRNXR
I am Elaine,I recently graduated with my PhD in Immunology from @UChicagoImmuno. I am currently interested in factors influencing immune development in early life 👩🍼👶 and will be starting my postdoc at UC San Francisco Joanna Halkias Gabi Fragiadakis #BlackInImmunoRollCall #BlackinImmuno
Very excited to be embarking on this single-cell analysis of JDM with my co-PIs Drs. Jessica Neely, Jessica Turnier, Michelle Kahlenberg, and Andrew Heaton! Thank you CZI Science for your support!
