At the start of 2020 I started mentoring Black women PhD candidates; 3 in UK and one in Nigeria. Three submitted and defended, and the fourth has just submitted. Each and every one of them is so intelligent, kind, and an excellent researcher. Higher heights ahead for them❤️

I was asked by Nature to contribute to a piece on Black women in academia. I discussed stats on Black women professors and the current Black-lash where research funders/unis are rowing back on pledges to tackle anti-Black racism made in 2020. It is up now, open access!
