A group of bookworms from Galleywall were invited to #MillwallFC stadium for their debut #WorldBookDay event! The day was filled with excitement as the children explored the stadium and attended an inspiring author talk by Bali Rai ⚽️📚

The excitement is building as Year 4 students gear up for the highly anticipated #BigSing at the #Guildhall this May. With their performance just around the corner, they gathered for their final rehearsal, and it was a day full of energy, fun, and a lot of singing! 🎤🎶

Year 2 had an amazing time at London Zoo, immersing themselves in the fascinating world of animals as part of our 'Rumble in the Jungle' topic 🐒🐘🦒The children were excited to explore a wide variety of creatures, with a special focus on the incredible animals of the rainforest

Miss Pursani recently led an inspiring assembly on #Ramadan and #Eid. Miss Pursani and Mr Nicholas organised a lunchtime crafting club to celebrate these special occasions. The response was incredible. ✨ Eid Mubarak to those celebrating✨

Our Galleywall debating team had the amazing opportunity to visit SOAS University of London University of London to take part in the #DebateMateCup. Our three teams won 5 out of 6 debates, with one team coming in the top 5 out of 30 teams.

Galleywall Primary School recently participated in the exciting #IntraSchoolChallengeDay, organised by the LPESSN 💙. The event featured a series of fun and competitive challenges that tested the students' skills and teamwork.

Year 3 took part in workshops run by @TransportForLondon about how to be safe when crossing roads. In the morning the children had a special assembly led by two representatives from Transport For London where they learned to 'Stop, Look, Listen and Think' before crossing any road

Year 4 travelled to the Guild Hall to participate in #TheBigSing, a Trust-wide event in which several schools performed a multitude of songs inspired by the work of the great composer, #Handel.

Year 3 visited #KagyuSamyeDzongLondonTibetanBuddhistMeditationCentre as part of their learning about world religions. They were greeted warmly by a #Buddhist nun, who welcomed them into the peaceful space and taught them all about the teachings of #Buddhism.

Congratulations to our amazing Year 5 dance crew, who proudly represented our school at the recent dance showcase held at #Bacon’sCollege this week! From the moment you stepped onto the stage, you demonstrated the true spirit of teamwork, creativity, and dedication.

Year 1 children explored the world of sculpture by creating their own clay artworks inspired by #HenryMoore. They learned about Moore’s abstract style and how he used shape and form to express ideas.

It was an afternoon well spent at Surrey Docks Fitness & Water Sports Centre — sailing across the calm waters, taking turns steering the boat, mastering the turns, and soaking in the peaceful vibes of the docks.

Over the past several months, Griffin and Falcon classes have poured their hearts and talents into an extraordinary creative journey. From sculpting and painting to sewing and set designing, our students have worked tirelessly since September to bring their puppets to life.
