This is so sad 😭 game gym was the host of my first smash tourney and got me into competing. Sad to see them go, but glad I got to work for them for at least a little while 🫡

Game Gym was the first org to take a chance on my production, all the way back in 2021. When I found this out this news hit me like a truck. I wish things turned out different, but I was incredible working with you all, and I hope the GG Team can find success elsewhere.

Very sad to see Game Gym close operations. @ExtraBarbecue puts his heart and soul into this one, building an incredible community and paving a pathway for young kids to be introduced to gaming & esports in a healthy, constructive environment. Hoping the mission continues.

It was an absolute pleasure working with @ExtraBarbecue & his incredible team at Game Gym. Class acts who will definitely be missed in the gaming & esports scenes in the DMV and beyond.

Working with Game Gym in the earlier parts of my career was some of the most fun I had working in esports. Being a camp counselor for so many kids who were passionate about gaming really set in for me why I want to work in esports; to help pave the way for the next generation.

During my Smash days, these guys provided the most fun experience ever. The staff were cool, the people were amazing and I've met really good friends here. Thank you for all that you've done

there will be nothing that captures the vibes that Flex had. So many memories created at the Game Gym, I would not be the person I am today without them. Thanks for everything Game Gym.

I am so grateful for Game Gym and @ExtraBarbecue for giving me a great internship after the uncertainty of the pandemic. I wouldn’t be where I am today without them. Game Gym’s mission needs to be carried on so that healthier gaming communities can continue to grow ❤️

With this, my (full)time in esports has come to a close. It was a fun journey and I met many amazing people along the way. Thank you to everyone across Wonderfly, ProGuides, Cloud9, RedBull Gaming, and ofc Game Gym for helping me live my dream for even just a few short years. 1/2
