Smashed it 💚🌳 Thank you Kathryn Hand for helping finish off my survey of 'Big' Linford Wood today. 46 grid squares (184 quadrats) of brambles, blackthorn, nettles and lots of nice ancient woodland plants to make it all worth it ☺️

Field season over, I am now at my desk typing up data, looking out of the window at the rain. One datasheet down, 95 to go.

Couldn't have picked a better day for the last visitor counts in Linford Wood. (So nice I think I got sunburnt). Big thank you to all the The Parks Trust staff and volunteers who have helped assess the impact of visitor pressure on ancient woodland in Milton Keynes this year.
