If you ever had the pleasure of having Tamsen Mitchell do a sketch note of your presentation, it made you feel seen and special like no other. She had a way of making everyone around feel special. I'll miss her.

My grumpiness returned on using Source Control as Arlo Belshee did not find passing documents through Telegram an acceptable "back-up" scenario. But then he showed me that I could make the background dark and much more attractive, so I'm good again! #NotCoder #Exhausting2Coders

Getting #CSD from David Bernstein this week. Learning how so many OO patterns and approaches apply to instructional design. I wish we had explicit patterns like this. Also, loving UMLs as a construct. #newbie

"If you feel your traditions and culture are lost, they aren't lost. ....you are." Mary Crow, climate activist and Cherokee, speaking at #OGSspringConf stopped me in my tracks with that intro. Much introspection to follow. OrganicGrowersSchool

Grateful to Craft Conference for providing virtual speaking options! Excited to be talking about systemic empathy with Naming as a Process #NaaP for successful refactoring (as created by Arlo Belshee) craft-conf.com/speaker/marian…

Creating a 1-pg website using Hugo & JS connected to Supabase. Why? I may have accidentally grown too many seedlings in my greenhouse, so Arlo Belshee is helping me write a program that allows my local community to sign up and take my greenhouse plants! tech + plants = awesome

You always wanted to be better in code craft? Our speakers are more than happy to help! 🔥 Come to Craft Conference and learn from Kevlin Henney, Vlad Khononov, Marian Hartman, PhD | @marianhartman.bsky.social, Fabrice Bernhard, Debbie O'Brien and Michael Feathers!📢

I so enjoyed speaking at #CraftCon virtually! We "refactored" a contract using Arlo Belshee Naming as a Process (NaaP). Especially perfect for #productmanagement to see how they can engage with the refactoring process. digdeeproots.github.io/talks/craft202…
