This is horrible. There is no safe place outside during a thunderstorm. Lightning can strike as far as 10 miles ahead of an approaching storm. If you hear, thunder, you need to get inside.

A lot of people may be surprised by this, but Florida temperatures rarely hit 100°, largely because it’s so humid. More humid air is harder to heat up, which is why dry deserts are the hottest places on the planet. Plus, Florida has the influence of the ocean on either side.
