Thanks Marsden Fund, excited to start a 3-year project with Neil Gemmell, Sarah Robertson and MPankhurst understanding how seminal fluid influences female fertility and ageing in mice! Thanks 3 reviewers for the overwhelming positivity -those reports got me through lockdown!

3 year postdoc available at Otago, New Zealand, focusing on how responses to seminal fluid influence female fertility and ageing in mice. Life-history/evolution/biomed focused, with me, Neil Gemmell and Sarah Robertson. Please RT! otago.taleo.net/careersection/…

Had a brilliant time at Brain Bee yesterday, with the brightest high school minds from New Zealand exploring awesome neuroanatomy with a sheep brain dissection University of Otago! Shout out to BrainSTEM Otago and especially Courteney Westlake for an awesome event! 🎊🌟

Congratulations Celine Camon. Amazing presentation as always, can't wait to hear you talk about estrogens and female health next! Echoing thanks to New Zealand Society for Endocrinology and CNE Otago for helping support Celine to attend this conference.

Congratulations and amazing work Celine Camon. Thank you for developing this important research. I look forward to seeing you and this project grow, here with us at Otago and beyond!

Thank you GCRLE for this award. Excited to be working with Rebecca Campbell and Greg Anderson on this project, and proud to be part of this group of researchers understanding ovarian ageing and its effects on female health.

New ITP paper shows lifespan extension in male mice with estriol, similar to lifespan-extension with 17 alpha estradiol (but estriol reduces female survival). So treatment with at least two different estrogens is capable of extending male mouse lifespan. link.springer.com/article/10.100…

New out in Nature!! With age, women can lose one X chromosome in their leukocytes. What’s the cause/consequence? How does it differ from the loss of the Y chromosome in men? nature.com/articles/s4158… Broad Institute FinnGen FIMM HelsinkiUni National Cancer Institute Cambridge University

Congrats Celine Camon for this great review on loss of estrogen signalling in menopause and ageing. Includes details of how estrogens influence health and ageing in animals plus a critical summary of results from human menopause hormone therapy studies
