Little else matters until Black Lives Matter.

Microbes are still cool though.

Why are there so many accounts with so many replies in the hiddens? It's mind bottling the extent to which people need attention on here

I love being a postdoc because not only is your employment too brief for lenders to even consider giving you a loan to purchase a place to live, but you also don't make enough money to rent a decent place to live

Appliances, but products in general, are not built to last anymore. Planned obsolescence is the worst thing that has ever been introduced. Everything from KitchenAid mixers to clothes to actual building materials on newer houses are inferior now.

Hotels and the like are nasty, but very little of that process was effective cleaning. Cleaning products are overadvertised and many household things are just difficult to clean.

LOL. Biologists losing their shit about this, but literally every training grant and new campus initiative is premised on the need to attract new talent to biology.

Garrett Smith (@garrettroph) 's Twitter Profile Photo

TIL: only biology training grants and new campus initiatives try to recruit and develop emerging talent - all the other sciences either don't care or don't want new talent

Hop on Twitter for real for first time in at least a year and the current discourse started from because a dude quoted (from 2 seconds of web search) a known anti-science, libertarian tech billionaire's thoughts on the lack of talent in biology. Yall - get outta this hell
