Been a bit quite recently. It is thesis trauma in my life. Bringing years of EdD learning together has been all consuming. Some highs and lows. This week has provided some real eureka moments. On a wet, wet day OH provided a G &T to help the reading to support Chpt 2 Strathclyde Institute of Education .

What a messy job referencing and citing papers can be. 6 hours in 90 minute sessions today. Finished the day in the garden appreciating the roses.

Since January I have spent many hours on my EdD thesis. It has been the daily norm of between 3 to 8 hours of writing. Yesterday a milestone reached . Full draft sent to supervisors. Today packed and ready for two weeks away.

When you arrive at your B and B and it has a wee reading nook. The best view of the holidays to date even in the rain.

Office move. From Jan to June I set up the EdD office in my daughter’s room. She is coming home for the summer so relocate office to guest room. Lucky guests having access to such wonderful reading. I hope the new view helps the final EdD stages.

Really looking forward to meeting and reuniting with valued friends and rural colleagues. Hopefully some new contacts will be made too. Working together on rural opportunities is so important.
