The Gauteng Provincial Gov together with the CITY OF EKURHULENI will this morning host a joint memorial service in honour of those that lost their lives following the tragic incident which led to fatalities, and many injured when a liquid gas truck exploded in Boksburg.

We are at Kwa-Masiza Hostel in Sebokeng where MEC Nomantu Nkomo Ralehoko is launching the free First Responder Training offered by Lebone College of Emergency Care - LCOEC - GPG EMS as part of efforts to equip communities with required skills to respond to the commonly encountered emergencies #AsibeHealthyGP

In over 90% of medical, trauma, suicide and accident incidents, communities are less equipped to respond to the emergency situation they were confronted with. The First Responder Training can help make a difference between life and death while awaiting emergency response teams.

The Lebone College of Emergency Care - LCOEC - GPG EMS is currently providing first responder training to the community of Kwa-Maziza Hostel in Sebokeng. The group is learning how to control bleeding, attend to fractures, care for wounds and respond to drowning victims in an emergency situation #AsibeHealthyGP

The Gauteng Wellness on Wheels (GWoW) is a mobile wellness centre that will strengthen existing wellness support programmes (emotional, financial & mental) to improve employee morale & outreach support for our dedicated paramedics #WeCareWeServeWeBelong #AsibeHealthyGP
